Will Prague Finally Appear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is here, and it’s everything we hoped for: stunning visuals, grounded storytelling, a deeper combat system, and a map that’s even bigger and more immersive than the first. We’ve ridden through Kuttenberg (Kutná Hora), Bohemian fields, and gotten into more than a few morally questionable situations 😅.
But now that the second installment has arrived and we’ve devoured it, naturally, we’re left wondering:
Will Prague finally make it into Kingdom Come: Deliverance 3? As medieval travel fans and proud KCD nerds, we’re diving into that juicy question headfirst.
So… Why Isn’t Prague in the Game Yet?
Good question. Prague was the heart of the Bohemian Kingdom in the 15th century—politically, economically, and culturally. By 1403, when the series takes place, Prague was already a major European city with impressive architecture, vibrant academic life (hello, Charles University), and no shortage of royal drama.
But so far, Warhorse Studios has kept the action out in the countryside. KCD1 and KCD2 focused on South and Central Bohemia, in regions that were more rural, lawless, and easier to fill with mercenaries and monastery heists.
That said… in our opinion all signs point to Prague being the next big step.

Why Prague Makes Sense for KCD3
1. Escalating Stakes
Each game has expanded its map, cast, and story scope. KCD2 ends with certain plot developments (no spoilers!) that set the stage for bigger political conflict. If you’re going to raise the stakes and go full Game of Thrones-Bohemian-style, you need a capital city full of intrigue.
2. We’re Approaching the Hussite Wars
The timeline is inching toward the 1410s—peak religious upheaval, civil war, and urban revolt in Bohemia. And Prague was the epicenter of it all. If KCD3 covers this era, Prague almost has to be included.
3. The Fans Want It
Browse any forum or Reddit thread and you’ll see the same comments: “Let us into Prague already!” With players loving the gritty realism of Kutná Hora and Pirkstein, imagine what Warhorse could do with the Old Town, Charles Bridge, or Prague Castle.
What Prague Could Look Like in KCD3
We’re picturing 😍:
- The Old Town Square buzzing with preachers, students, and tension.
- Charles Bridge, crowded with traders and patrolling guards.
- Royal courts, secret passages, and maybe some good ol’ Bohemian espionage.
- And a game world filled with ethical dilemmas in the heart of political chaos.
A city that doesn’t just look good—but feels alive. And potentially dangerous.
Other Possible Locations for KCD3
If Warhorse decides to expand beyond Prague, here are a few contenders:
- Tábor – The Hussite stronghold.
- Brno – A powerful Moravian city.
- Wroclaw (Breslau) – If they dare push the map beyond Bohemia.
But Prague feels like the next logical, narrative-rich step.
