Born into a Czech-Italian family with wanderlust in our veins, travel has always been central to my life. Our family vacations weren’t just trips—they were adventures that shaped my understanding of different cultures and ignited my passion for showing others the beauty of authentic travel experiences.
While exploring the world, I met my American husband—proof that travel can change your life in unexpected ways! Living in the United States gave me a unique perspective on what American travelers seek when visiting Europe: authentic experiences, hassle-free planning, and the comfort of a knowledgeable local guide who understands both cultures.
A Family Legacy of Travel Expertise
My travel story begins much earlier than my own journey. In 1990, as the Iron Curtain fell and Czechs were finally free to explore beyond borders, my family established BestTour—a travel agency specializing in hiking adventures throughout the Alps and Dolomites. For over 35 years, my mother and grandfather built a reputation for exceptional service and intimate knowledge of European destinations.
Growing up surrounded by travel brochures and listening to trip planning discussions at our dinner table, I absorbed the travel business from childhood. I watched my family transform strangers into delighted travelers, handling every detail so they could focus on creating memories. This early education taught me that the best travel experiences combine meticulous planning with the flexibility to embrace unexpected discoveries.
TourCurious! Is Born
Following my family’s footsteps while carving my own path, I founded TourCurious! with a clear mission: to reveal the beauty, history, and hidden gems of the Czech Republic and Central Europe to visitors seeking more than just tourist highlights.
I understand that traveling to a country where you don’t speak the language and don’t know the customs can be intimidating. That’s why I personally design every itinerary, considering both the must-see landmarks and the off-the-beaten-path experiences that most tourists miss. My connections throughout the Czech Republic mean my clients enjoy exclusive access to experiences that aren’t available to the average visitor.
