Czech UNESCO Sites Tour

itinerary

  • Arrive at Prague airport and transfer to hotel
  • Dinner at a modern contemporary Czech restaurant.
  • On the second day we’ll visit the first UNESCO included site – Prague’s Old Town. During our tour we will visit some impressive monuments, including Charles Bridge, and a multitude of churches and palaces.
  • Dinner at an authentic Czech restaurant.
  • In the morning we’ll leave Prague to reach the park in Pruhonice and it’s Chateau.
  • Individual free time and lunch in Pruhonice and transfer to Kutná Hora
  • Visit of Kutná Hora, including the Sedlec Abbey and its chilling Ossuary, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.
  • Individual visit of the city and the church with entry tickets included.
  • Overnight stay and dinner at a 4 Star hotel in Kutná Hora.
  • After breakfast, we’ll travel from Kutná Hora to reach the Pilgrimage church of St. John Nepomuk at Zelená Hora.
  • Individual time for lunch in Brno, the second biggest city in the Czech Republic. You can visit the city center and climb up hill to Špilberk castle.
  • Optional stop at Villa Tugendhat, an architecturally significant building in Brno. It’s one of the pioneering prototypes of modern architecture in Europe included in UNESCO in 2001.
  • Accommodation in a Southern Moravian winery including dinner and wine tasting.
  • Visit the baroque countryside castles of Lednice and Valtice built according to English romantic principles of landscape architecture.
  • In the morning we’ll visit the town center and chateau. The Telč Chateau ranks among the gems of Moravian Renaissance architecture.
  • Lunch in seafood restaurant in Třeboň – charming town famous for its fish ponds teeming with sweet water fish, particularly carp. When visiting Třeboň, it’s a must to try the local specialty: carp fries. The tender and flavorful carp fries are a beloved dish in the region and a true delicacy for seafood lovers.
  • Transfer and overnight to Český Krumlov.
  • Free individual morning in UNESCO heritage city Český Krumlov, a city on the banks of the Vltava river, the town was built around a 13th-century castle with Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements.
  • Leaving Cesky Krumlov we’ll drive through the town of Holašovice – complete and well-preserved example of a traditional central European village included in UNESCO world heritage sites. It’s built in Southern Bohemia folk style.
  • Group lunch and guided visit of the state Chateau of Hluboká. Originally a royal castle above the Vltava River, after many changes in 1661, it became the property of the Schwarzenberg family and another one of Czech UNESCO sites.
  • Transfer and overnight in Prague.
  • In the morning guided tour of the Castle, Cathedral and Royal Gardens.
  • Free afternoon – we can take you back to the hotel or give you suggestions where to shop for souvenirs and local delicacies to bring back home.
  • Dinner at the oldest medieval tavern in Prague. Prepare yourself for a night filled with table jugglers, swordsmen, fire eaters, and medieval music performed by a live band while indulging in medieval food specialties.
  •  Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
