Prague is often regarded as Europe’s cultural hotspot, home to a wealth of museums, galleries, and art spaces. This tour will not only take you to the city’s iconic landmarks but also delve into its rich artistic history, exploring museums, galleries, and charming cafes once frequented by renowned actors and celebrities. You’ll have the unique opportunity to enjoy a delicious pastry and coffee in the very spots where these cultural icons once gathered.

itinerary

  • Arrive at Prague airport and transfer to hotel.
  • Dinner at a modern contemporary Czech restaurant.
  • We start the day at Old Town Bridge Tower, crossing the beautiful and famous gothic Charles Bridge to Malá strana.
  • Walking through the narrowest street in Prague, see the water mill with mythical Water Gremlin Statue and artsy Lennon wall.
  • Taking a stroll through Kampa park we will arrive at art nouveu gem café Savoy (est.1893) and have a short coffee and cake break.
  • River cruise with guided tour of monuments and points of interest along the river and refreshments.
  • Free evening – upon request it’s possible to book tickets for the National Opera or the Municipal house concert.
  • Visit the Municipal house built in art nouveau style.
  • Guided walking tour towards the Old Town Square.
  • Individual break in which you can visit the Old Town Hall, one of the lesser-known medieval buildings, the famous astronomical clock, or you can climb the clock tower for a panoramic view of Prague.
  • Early dinner at Café Slavia – opened in 1884 and right across from the National Theater Slavia was often visited by many actors and artists. Poet and novelist Rainer Maria Rilke regularly spent time in the café.
  • Play in the National Theater. Based on the day of arrival there may be diffe,rent acts on play with English subtitles – e.g. Rusalka, The Barber of Seville or, Carmen.
  • Transfer to Prague castle – guided tour of the castle, cathedral and royal gardens.
  • Lunch break.
  • The walking tour continues through Prague castle stairs to Kunsthalle – modern art gallery. Tickets are included you can visit the museum individually in 1,5h.
  • Then transfer back to hotel to get some rest before an early dinner at a boat restaurant with magical views of the Vltava river.
  • Evening Concert of Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in the Rudolfinum palace.
  • Day open to individual exploration – Tickets to the National Museum are included. We’re happy to help with suggestions or arrange a private program or guide.
  • Early dinner at a Czech steakhouse restaurant.
  • Opera in the Czech national opera house (subtitles in English).
  •  Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
