Terms and Conditions for TourCurious!

Welcome to TourCurious! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services and booking platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- “TourCurious!” refers to the travel agency providing the travel services.
- “Client” refers to any individual or group booking travel services with TourCurious!.
- “Booking” refers to any confirmed reservation made for travel services through TourCurious!.
- “Services” includes all travel, accommodation, tour packages, and any additional services offered by TourCurious!.
2. Booking Process
- All bookings must be made through our website, email, or by phone with a TourCurious! representative.
- A valid passport, ID, or any necessary travel documentation must be provided at the time of booking, especially for international trips.
- Upon confirming a booking, clients will receive a booking confirmation via email. It is essential to review all details and notify us of any discrepancies within 24 hours.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment must be made in full or as per the specified deposit requirements at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other methods specified by TourCurious!.
- Final payment for tours or travel packages is due no later than 60 days before departure. Failure to make timely payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
- Prices quoted may be subject to change, and we will inform clients in case of significant changes due to unforeseen circumstances (such as fluctuations in currency exchange rates, government taxes, or third-party supplier price changes).
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations by the Client:
- If the client cancels the booking, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- 10% cancellation fee if canceled 120 days before the trip.
- 30% cancellation fee if canceled 119 to 61 days before the trip.
- 50% cancellation fee if canceled 60 to 31 days before the trip.
- 90% cancellation fee if canceled 30 to 11 days before the trip.
- No refund if canceled within 10 days of the trip.
- Clients must submit cancellation requests in writing via email.
- If the client cancels the booking, the following cancellation fees will apply:
- Cancellations by TourCurious!:
- In the rare event that we must cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political instability), we will offer a full refund or an alternative tour package of equal value.
- Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be completed.
5. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential cancellations, medical emergencies, and other travel-related issues. Travel insurance is not included in the package price unless explicitly stated.
6. Responsibilities of the Client
- Clients must ensure they have valid travel documents (e.g., passports, visas) and comply with any entry requirements of the destination(s).
- Clients must arrive at the designated pick-up points at the specified time. TourCurious! is not responsible for missed departures due to client delay.
- Clients are responsible for maintaining their personal belongings. TourCurious! is not liable for any lost or stolen items during the trip.
- Any behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, or violating local laws may result in expulsion from the tour without refund.
7. Tour Modifications
- TourCurious! reserves the right to modify or cancel any travel package, itinerary, or accommodation arrangement due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, political unrest, or operational difficulties).
- Clients will be notified as soon as possible about any changes. In the event of major modifications, clients may choose to accept the revised itinerary or cancel with a full refund.
8. Liability
- TourCurious! acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers (e.g., airlines, hotels, restaurants). While we strive to offer the highest quality services, we are not responsible for any third-party actions or failures.
- TourCurious! is not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages to personal property during the trip, except where legally required by applicable law.
9. Force Majeure
TourCurious! is not responsible for any delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, war, terrorism, pandemics, or government restrictions.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
- By booking with TourCurious!, clients consent to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Personal information will only be used for booking purposes, and we will not share client information with third parties without consent, except when required to provide travel services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Czech Republic.
12. Amendments
TourCurious! reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email or posted on our website. Clients are encouraged to review the Terms before making a booking.
